The confirmed field for the $1,000,000 buy-in WPT The Big One for One Drop got a little bigger over the weekend as news broke that nosebleed tournament crusher Mikita Badziakouski has confirmed hell be in Las Vegas this December to play the event.

The Belarusian poker pro joins a lineup that has already announced WPT Ambassador Phil Ivey, poker pros Chris Brewer, Nick Petrangelo, Daniel Jungleman Cates as well as more recreational players David Einhorn, Talal Shakerchi and Rick Salomon, who has cashed in three of the previous four iterations of the Big One for One Drop.

Badziakouski is looking to add to what has already been a very successful year for him in terms of cashes. Hes currently sitting with more than $5.2 million in live tournament earnings this year alone including three seven-figure scores all of which came within a month of each other. According to Hendon Mob, Badziakouski’s career live earnings of just over $43.5 million has put him just inside the Top 10 on poker’s All-Time Money List (10th), leaping over aforementioned poker legend Phil Ivey (11th).

The WPT Big One for One Drop is, of course, will be taking place during the December WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas festival. The final table of this event will be livestreamed on all WPT channels on December 20, part of two weeks’ worth of WPT livestreamed action.
