Brad Owen Bringing Meet-Up Game to WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown
World Poker Tour (WPT) ambassador Brad Owen is taking his popular Meet-Up Game (MUG) to South Florida on April 18 during the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.
Fans of the legendary vlogger will have an opportunity to compete against Owen, and perhaps score some “Bradley Dollars” in the process. Joining the $2/$5 no-limit hold’em cash game action at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage and longtime commentator Vince Van Patten.
As we prepare to make our 2024 debut at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, we wanted to plan something special for the festival, said Adam Pliska, WPT CEO. The MUG gives players and fans alike the opportunity to meet and play with Brad Owen and get excited for a world class festival of events.

Meet-Up Game Details
The WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, a $3,500 buy-in tournament April 19-23, features a $3 million guaranteed prize pool. Bin Weng, the hottest player in poker last year, won the event in 2023, beating out 2,290 entrants to win $1,128,250. Don’t be surprised if this year’s event is even bigger.
One day before that major tournament kicks off, there will be a fun and relaxing low-stakes game of poker spearheaded by Owen, a WPT ambassador.
Im pumped to return to the world-famous Guitar Hotel for another meet-up game, Owen said. Last years MUG at the Poker Showdown was a blast and were eager to bring back that hype to the Florida crowd for the upcoming SHRPS.
Owen, who has a remarkable 718,000 YouTube subscribers, has long hosted MUGs in various casinos around the world. Along with Andrew Neeme, the duo began hosting MUGs in Las Vegas about five years ago, and the popularity has grown so much that the games have moved all over the map.
Meet-Up Games provide fans an opportunity to compete in a stress-free and relaxed environment against the vloggers they enjoy watching on YouTube. The game begins at 11 a.m. Players can register to join in on the action via the Bravo Poker Live app, and should do so as early in advance as possible. Expect plenty of bomb pots, shots, and an enjoyable experience.
