Champions Club Winter Poker Open In Texas Will Have $1M Gtd. Main Event
Texas is known for having some of the best tournament action in the country, and the state is living up to its reputation with the upcoming 2024 Champions Club Winter Poker Open, a series taking place Feb. 2-19 and culminating with a $1,500 buy-in Main Event with a $1 million guarantee attached.
PokerNews will be on-site at Champions Club in Houston to provide live updates from the three-day Main Event, alongside a few side events like the $1,100 buy-in PLO Championship with a $150,000 guarantee and a $400 buy-in Mystery Bounty event with a $300,000 guarantee.

February Poker Action In Texas
The Champions Club Winter Poker Open will kick off with several events on Feb. 2, including a $400 buy-in Monster Stack with a $50,000 guarantee and a $140 buy-in Nightly No-Limit Hold’em event with a $3,000 guarantee.
The next few days of the series will see events, including a $200 Seniors NLH event with $5,000 added to the prize pool, a $250 H.O.R.S.E. event, and the aforementioned PLO Championship and Mystery Bounty event.
Some of the other highlights throughout the series include a $250 Big O event, a $175 Omaha Sweat for Seats event, a $140 Ladies Event with $5,000 added to the prize pool and a $250 Tag Team Event. There are also plenty of satellite opportunities for players to win Main Event seats for as little as $135.
As for the Main Event, the first of six starting flights will kick off on Feb. 12 at noon with the same start times for the following flights. Players who bag across those starting flights will return for Day 2 on Feb. 18 before the final table plays out the following day.
