APAT Manchester Open Championship Schedule
Date | Time | Event |
---|---|---|
Fri 22 Mar | 6:00 p.m. | Open Championship Day 1A |

Sun 24 Mar | 1:00 p.m. | Open Championship Day 2 |
Each of the two Day 1s of the APAT Manchester Open Championship is played as a freezeout. However, you can fire a second bullet at Day 1B if you play Day 1A. Should you progress to Day 2 from Day 1A, you can still enter the second flight, but you forfeit your Day 2 stack; you have been warned!
Players on each Day 1 enter the battle armed with 25,000 tournament chips and play to 25-minute levels where the blinds start at 100/100. A big blind ante comes into play from the sixth level onwards, with each flight continuing until only 15% of the field remains. Should you wish to channel your inner Phil Hellmuth and turn up fashionably late, late registration remains open until the end of the eighth level.
The surviving players progress to Day 2 on March 24, safe in the knowledge they have secured at least a min-cash for their efforts. Day 2 starts at the earliest Day 1 completion level or is rolled back to guarantee a minimum of 33 big blinds, and see the clock extended to 40 minutes; it reduces to 20 minutes once the event is down to only three players.
