The EAPT Takes a €200,000 Gtd Main Event to Malta This April
The Casino Portomaso is the location for the next stop on the popular EAPT, with the tour calling it home from April 5-10. The 2024 EAPT Malta festival features five action-packed tournaments, including the €200,000 guaranteed Main Event, which the PokerNews Live Reporting team is bringing you all of the action from.
EAPT Malta’s Main Event features six Day 1s, including a pair of turbo-structures flights, each costing €560 to enter. Each EAPT Malta Main Event Day 1 plays until only 15% of the field remains, with those surviving players progressing to Day 2 with a min-cash locked up. Levels on Day 1 last 40-minutes, with the turbo-structured Day 1s featuring 20-minute levels.
Unlimited re-entries are permitted until late registration closes, which is after the sixth level for Day 1A-1D, and after Level 9 on both turbos.
In addition to having a €200,000 guaranteed prize pool, the 2024 EAPT Malta Main Event awards the top five finishers a €5,000 package to the EAPT Grand Final in Cyprus. The EAPT Grand Final is a $2,200 buy-in, $2 million guaranteed affair held at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in North Cyprus from May 4.
