We know for some, the social side of poker is as important as the game itself. That’s why we created a private space for you and your fellow poker players to step up to the table and play socially, amongst yourselves.

Here’s how it works.

HOW TO SET UP PRIVATE POKER GAMES IN 5 SIMPLE STEPS

Setup 1 : Once you log into your Global Poker account, you’ll find the Private Games button beneath the Ring Games, Sit’n’Go and Tournament section.

Setup 2 : This will take you to the main menu where you can set up your Private Game.

Setup 3 : If you are the organizer, you’ll need to click ‘Create’ to set up the tournament. There’s a one-off 25,000 Gold Coin fee to set it up that will be taken from your account. Once you’ve set up your table, choose which players you want to invite, and send them the code.

Setup 4 : Playing for bragging rights is all well and good; we know how good it feels to be the top dog! However, we also know it’s pretty damn sweet to play for prizes, too. So, to sweeten the game just a touch, we’ve thrown in a few Jackpot Sit’n’Go entries (GC) for the top three players (listed below).

Prizes will be automatically added to your Private Game as soon as you set it up (see the ‘Prizes’ tab). Once the game is over, the top three players will be awarded the entries. Pretty neat, huh?

Setup 5 : To join your table, your friends must each have their own Global Poker account. If they haven’t got one yet, they can set one up easily here. Once they log in, they can access Private Games as listed above, but instead of pressing ‘Create’, they simply drop the code into the invite box. Then it’s all plain sailing from there. Or maybe not. Depends how the game goes!

Our Private Games give you the chance to play with whoever you want, whenever you want. You decide when, where and who you want to play with. We merely provide the playing ground in which you can do it. Just invite your gang, stock the fridge and grab your seat at the table. We’ve even thrown in a few prizes to make it worth your while, too.

HOW IT WORKS

This is an exclusive, invite-only poker game for you and your crowd. You have control over who plays and who doesn’t. All you need is an invitation code to send to your friends and you can start the game whenever you want, just as long as at least one other player has joined you at the table. Your private table will be set up for you, without having to download a thing. Or, perhaps more importantly, even move your butt off the sofa.

It’s quick and simple to set up—we made it that way intentionally so you can spend less time organizing and more time at the table—with a one-off 25,000 Gold Coin fee to set up the table. Minimum effort, maximum fun. That’s what we’re all about at Global Poker.

Private Games are set up solely so you and your crew can get together and play social poker online, any day of the week. Yes, you did hear us right—we did say free. TABLE TACTICS

Our Private Game settings are all preset to Single Table No-Limit Hold’em, and you can choose to play with between 2–9 players in any given game. All you need to do is create a Private Game, invite your poker buddies and crush it at the table.

NO POT, JUST GLORY

There are no pots to play for in private mode; the pots are empty so to speak.The main prize pool in this game is bragging rights and glory. But for those chasing more than the glory of the win, finish in the top three and you’ll get to swagger home (or to the kitchen) with free Jackpot Sit’n’Go entries, so you’d better make sure your skills are up to scratch. Or just be strategic with the friends you invite.
